Our point of view

Keep a piece
of the place.

Some places stay with you long after you leave them. A print gives that feeling somewhere to live.

The idea behind Pallister

A city you recognize.
A view you can return to.

Pallister Press is a concept for a Detroit photography shop. Its name comes from Pallister Street in New Center; its collection looks outward to the river, the neighborhoods, and the places that make the city feel like itself.

The photographs are real, sourced from credited photographers under open licenses. The store, prices, stock, and fulfillment options are demonstrations. No orders are accepted.

Before it goes on your wall

Size. Finish. Delivery.

Here’s how the demo shop is set up.

Find the right size.

11 × 14 in — $38
18 × 24 in — $65
24 × 36 in — $95

Dimensions include the white paper border. The full photograph stays visible, so the border varies with each image.

Give it a frame.

Keep it unframed, or preview black ash and white oak. Frames add $55, $85, or $125 based on size.

The preview shows the finish. It is an illustration of the frame around the real photograph, not a photograph of a manufactured product.

Choose how it arrives.

Demo pickup in New Center is free. Local delivery is $20. Unframed prints ship for $10, or free on print orders of $100 or more.

Framed pieces use pickup or local delivery. No real addresses or payment details are needed to try the demo.

The people behind the photographs
